Moving Mountains chose several tracks to reinterpret acoustically. The small type, minimal cover art, and textural printing style compliments the simple nature of the songs. The final art was printed on recycled paper and the square on the cover was embossed.

Servants of Death EP was a Record Store Day Exclusive and a companion release to their 2015 album Freedom, it contains a few B-sides and rarities. The direction was that the artwork had to be minimal and connect to Freedom in some way. So the door from the Freedom cover was isolated and emphasized. The repitition of the title "Servants of Death" on the vinyl slipcase, echos the chorus of the title track which repeats "Servants of Death" over and over.

This project was a collaboration with Victory Record's art director Jason Link. Victory Records was releasing a Best Of compilation for Between The Buried & Me's discography. The challenge was to find a way to encapsulate all of their albums into one cohesive package. My original concept was to use a diecut o-card that looked like a boxy 4:3 televsion. The accompanying inner digipak would look like television static, and we would bury imagery, lyrics, and icongraphy from each album into the static. Jason suggested that we use a spectral decoder to visually emulate the static and conceal all of the imagery.

This project was featured on Behance in Graphic Design / Packaging.

For Moving Mountains' symbol, I wanted the mark to appear like it was moving. The first iteration was on the cover of their 2011 album Waves (my first project with the band) and then in 2015 I updated it (the version displayed here) for their 2015 re-issue of Pnuema.
